The Label was formed in Cairns, QLD, Australia, 2002. Its founding artists being Spiral Soundsystem (dub, electronica), Jerry Mane (dub, dnb) and DNA Generator (acid, techno). In more recent times the label has spawned a rock & metal department under The Bent Tree sub-label.
Today LRRecords is based in Rockingham, Western Australia.
We are into basswise, jungle/dnb, dub, ambient and experimental style electronic music.
We also love a good dose of rock, post-rock, psych, stoner-rock, doom and heavy metal music.
