After graduating from Los Angeles Recording School in 2019, Patri Starlight was hired by a production company to write the soundtrack for ” Adalynn” an award-winning horror film directed by Jacob Byrd.

It was during this introspective period that Patri Starlight experienced a harrowing home invasion, where she showcased immense bravery by saving another woman’s life. She wrote a song about her story that took her all the way to the finals of the Djooky Music Awards, hosted by Brian Malof ex-vice president and head of A&R of Walt Disney Records.
