This online music streaming service that allows users to listen to radio shows, DJ mixes, and podcasts. It was founded in 2008 by Nikhil Shah and Nico Perez and is based in London, England. The service has millions of users and is available in over 190 countries. 

It has partnerships with major labels, independent labels, and artists to provide a wide variety of music and audio content. Mixcloud also offers a subscription service that allows users to access exclusive content and customized radio stations.

Developers Mat Clayton and Sam Cooke were added to the team in its early stages.

As of 2020, Mixcloud has over 18 million active users and more than one million registered Facebook application users.

In October 2017, Mixcloud signed direct licensing agreement with Warner Music.

Mixcloud features a wide variety of content from DJs, radio hosts, and podcasters, including music, radio shows, DJ mixes, podcasts, and more. It also has a large catalog of over 15 million tracks, curated playlists, and personalized recommendations.

Mixcloud also allows users to create and share their own playlists. Users can also follow their favorite DJs and radio hosts to stay up to date with their latest releases. Additionally, Mixcloud has a social platform where users can comment and like other users’ content.

Mixcloud also offers a subscription service, which gives users access to exclusive content, such as live broadcasts, curated playlists, and ad-free listening. It also offers a “Pro” subscription, which allows users to upload their own content to the platform.
