Horror Dance Squad releases their brand new single ‘Burn This Place Down’ on September 18th. Saturated in the band’s signature blend of metal and punk, this is an anthem for those who are adamant about making this world a better place and speaking out against the tyranny.
Following the release of their brand new EP ‘Better‘, we still find Horror Dance Squad firmly embracing their heavier side, from guttural growls, crushing breakdowns, and an open-armed chorus.
From the very beginning, the Estonian metallers stomp their foot on the gas, hurtling through the verses at breakneck speed as the lead vocalist screams and raps his way to the infectious ‘We know you don’t care what happens to us, you better burn this place down’ chorus hook.
Inspired by the controversy surrounding Melania Trump’s infamous “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket. The lyrics speak out against the apathetic leaders more concerned with their own personal greed than the people they are supposed to care for and lead with compassion.
“There are many things in the world that we, all of humanity, desperately need to care about, things that affect all of us in the here and now, which will certainly affect the generations of the future.”
Hailing from Tallinn, Estonia, Horror Dance Squad have been blasting stages throughout the Baltics since 2014. Unapologetically blending metalcore and punk with vibrant electronics and delivering it to their audiences with unforgettable ferocity.
Lyrically the band explores social and personal issues, justice, injustice and spirituality. Questions and topics that are pressing for us as individuals, but which are universal for all humanity.
‘Burn This Place Down‘ will be the first taste from Horror Dance Squad‘s upcoming album, ‘No Flag Will Fly Forever‘, available on all major streaming platforms on September 25th.
